Finaly!!!
I’ve been a great fan of feedly. In fact, it’s one of the main reasons why I hadn’t migrated fully to Chrome. That and an app I need for work. But now I can make the switch!!
Thanks for this!!
Cheers,
PL
wow..its a great extension..finally it arrived on chrome!
Excellent Extension. Works very well.
Be careful warning during extension installation “… reads out private user data”
Sorry, but It is a bookmark not a extension.
I love this extension on Firefox and really is the only reason I continued to use Firefox. Now that it’s on Chrome, I can switch from Firefox.
@todero. Feedly is actually a real extension. The page served by http://www.feedly.com/my is actually an empty shell. It provides a canvas into which the extension can display the feedly magazine. The magazine itself is assembled in real-time in the feedly extension (a mashup between the content of your favorite feeds, Google Reader, Twitter, Facebook and more). I hope this clarifies. If you have any question, you can reach us at team@devhd.com
This is the official version?
@Todero, the extension actually is like a key that let you access to the web… I’ll try to enter without the extension enabled and nothing happens =P
Anyway the button should be more useful, like showing a badge number count of unread items or some option… so I could uninstall the GReader Checker.
@Armstrong thanks for the suggestion. Will make sure that there is an option to display the unread count
I do like Feedly, but Todero is correct. This is nothing more than a bookmark, and should in no way be promoted as an extension. I’m pretty sure Google will not include it when it’s extensions gallery goes live.
Flash, did you try to go to the Feedly homepage without this extension?
I don’t see the button to get the extension. =[
@tatbrat do you mean the button to install the extension or the button to load your feedly once you have finished installing the extension?
Lolz ‘get the extension’.
There’s no ‘install’ or ‘download’ link visible on this page, only a ‘download firefox’ link for people browsing with chromium.
Crazy!!!
It’s great if feedly could show the preview of top 5 articles.
@ymz good suggestion. Will add it to our 3.0 roadmap doc.
@ben2talk you are right. I am not sure why the download link is not longer available. Going to try to re-upload. As a work around you can visit: http://blog.feedly.com/feedly-chrome-access
I have a simple suggestion. Could you add an option to allow Feedly to be opened on every new tab (rather than the top 8 New Tab page)?
@will Thanks for the comment. I am not sure I understand the suggestion. Could you please send us an email with more information about what you mean by “Could you add an option to allow Feedly to be opened on every new tab (rather than the top 8 New Tab page)?”
