This is pretty awesome. I can check things without going into the website. Like I can check search results in Google without actually clicking on them.

  2. Pedro says:

    PS:

Would be awesome if you made it to be able to open several “windows” (those things that come up) on at a time. It would seriously make Chrome like a OS.

It would be a great jump on Cloud Computing,

Hi, I would say Cleeki is an awesome extension and I would like upcoming features.

How about finishing that Preference System? Today Google Chrome supports local storage by default ( in dev releases ).

And writing a form in HTML is not difficult at all. I will wait some feedback :)

  4. Bapabooiee says:

This seems promising. But, some things really need to be implmented already, such as being able to edit its preferences.

All I would use this extension for would be to look-up words and do research – and since I can’t do that, this serves no purpose to me just yet.

I just upgraded Cleeki to 1.6.7 with full configuration (finally). It can be downloaded from: http://www.cleeki.com/download.html. Make sure to choose version 1.6.7 (for 4.0.221.6+. It uses the latest browser actions as the UI. I personally dislike the idea of ripping off toolstrip completely. But whatever…)

    What you can do:

    1. Edit/add/delete/re-arrange your Cleeki channels
    2. Import IE8 Accelerators
    3. Define the size of the preview window
    4. Define operations (e.g., open in background new tab, in background
new tab, in preview window, etc.)
    5. Many, many more.

Since this is the first release with configuration, if you find any
issues or questions, let me know and I will give it a shoot.

    Thanks and enjoy!

Correction; it does seem to work (when holding the mouse over an url), but there is no access to the menu for settings.

Maybe it’s just a glitch in this Ubuntu build which will be fixed, hope :)

  7. jaywink says:

Another correction to Cleeki on Ubuntu Chromium – the settings can be accessed via the opened Cleeki preview window when previewing a link. It used to be via the toolbar, so maybe this is just a feature change.. sorry for the spamming. Just wanted to clear this up, works fine with Ubuntu :)

  8. nXqd says:

    It works great :)
    Suggestion:
You should make the box a little around at the corner, I means the interface of Cleeki . I just a little doesn’t suit with Chrome style :P
Anyway, great extension, it saves a lots of time :)

  9. Mark Hahn says:

Version 1.6.8.1 is not working with my chrome 4.0.266.0. The text that is selected is not being copied. The search param is blank. The search will look like http://www.google.com/search?q=

  10. Doesnt matter says:

I have been playing around with it, but the only thing i have found a problem with is, even tho i have all the settings to preview if i try to preview/search something in facebook, it does it in my current tab, thats my only problem

  11. Anyone else having problems with the latest dev build of Chrome and Cleeki?
I can’t import the accelerators anymore.
The screen asks permission, and reverts back to IE8 accelerators.

  12. I can’t get the ie8 accelerators to import anymore.
Is this a bug, or did they do away with this?
