About zyplayer-doc Knowledge Base Extension
zyplayer-doc Web Clipper is designed to help you save useful web content, such as articles, documentation, tutorials, blogs, and reference materials, directly to your own zyplayer-doc knowledge base.
When you find valuable content while browsing the web, you can use the extension to clip the current page or select a specific content block on the page. The extension converts the captured web content to Markdown and lets you choose the target space and folder in zyplayer-doc before saving. It can also upload images from the clipped page to your zyplayer-doc service, helping you keep saved articles complete and easier to maintain.
You should install this extension if you want to:
- Save web resources into your own knowledge base instead of leaving them scattered across browser bookmarks.
- Quickly collect technical articles, product materials, tutorials, documentation, blog posts, and temporary research references.
- Preserve common article structures, including headings, paragraphs, links, images, code blocks, lists, and tables.
- Convert web content to Markdown for easier editing, archiving, and knowledge management.
- Save content directly to a selected zyplayer-doc space and folder to keep your knowledge base organized.
- Optionally upload image resources from clipped pages to reduce the risk of broken or missing images later.
This extension works with a zyplayer-doc service configured by the user. It does not provide a hosted knowledge base by itself and does not send page content to any unconfigured third-party service. Content is sent only to the zyplayer-doc service URL configured by the user when the user actively clips and saves a page.
