chromeextensions.org is an independent reference site about Chrome extensions.
For each extension it shows how many people use it, how that is changing, how it is rated, where it ranks in the store's own search, and what it asks permission for. It also records which extensions have disappeared.
Every day we record the public listing of every extension in the Chrome Web Store. That includes user count, rating, number of ratings, version, category, permissions and store rankings.
Pages on this site cover every one of the 283,883 extensions in the store plus the 258,184 that have been removed. The history goes back three years.
Since 7 March 2024 the Chrome Web Store shows user counts rounded down to the leading digit. An extension with 1,618,689 users is shown as 1,000,000.
So user growth appears as steps, and large extensions can look flat for a long time. The number of ratings is exact, which is why this site leans on new ratings as the signal of real adoption.
Counts from before March 2024 were exact; the charts round them the same way so that the whole line is on one basis. Charts show up to five years of monthly history.
Some pages describe extensions that are no longer published, or that live on under another name. They explain what the extension did and point to current alternatives.
Nothing can be downloaded from this site and we do not distribute extension files. Every current extension links to its official Chrome Web Store listing.

Extension names and logos belong to their developers and are shown to identify the extension.
The site is run by Axeman Technology Solutions, the company behind the Keywords Everywhere browser extension. Keywords Everywhere appears in these rankings on the same terms as every other extension.
