Zovo SkipList - Personal Video Skip Points

Zovo SkipList is a personal skipping companion for YouTube. Instead of relying on anyone else's crowd-sourced segment data, you build your own skip list: press the bookmark button once at the start of a part you always skip, press it again at the end, and that section is remembered for you on that video. The next time you watch, SkipList offers to jump straight past it. WHY A PERSONAL SKIP LIST Every viewer has different habits. Some people skip every sponsor read, others only skip long intros, music intros, recap sections, or the recurring reminders they have already heard. Community databases average everybody's opinion together and often disagree with you. SkipList inverts the model: the only segments that are ever skipped are the ones you marked yourself, on your device, for your own playback. Nothing you mark is uploaded, shared, or contributed anywhere. PERSONAL BOOKMARKS While watching a video, open the popup, pick a category such as intro, outro, sponsor, reminder, or self-promotion, and start a bookmark. Press again at the end of the section and it is saved locally. Saved sections show their total count in the popup footer so you can see your list growing. CATEGORY PROFILES Profiles let you tune behavior per category. For each category you can choose auto skip, ask first, or ignore. Save profiles with names like Focused listening, and switch the active profile from the popup at any time. A default profile is included so the extension works sensibly out of the box. LISTENING TIME SAVED SkipList tracks how much listening time your skips have returned to you. The popup hero shows the accumulated time saved along with your personal skip count, so the value of your own list is visible at a glance. DESIGNED TO BE PRIVATE - Bookmarks, profiles, and statistics live in your browser's extension storage on this device. - This edition never reads or writes the SponsorBlock community database. - No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking of the videos you watch. - Uninstalling the extension removes its stored data with it. PRO UPGRADE (OPTIONAL) The base extension is fully usable at no cost and its source is GPL-3.0 licensed. An optional upgrade on zovo.one adds extra profile slots and convenience features for heavy listeners. Upgrading is entirely optional and the extension remains useful without it. License keys are validated with a minimal request when you activate one; no personal data is attached. PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED - Storage: used only to keep your skip points, profiles, and time-saved statistics on your device. - Access to youtube.com pages: the skipping controls run on the video page itself so bookmarks and playback jumps happen where you watch. No other sites are accessed. RESPECT FOR THE PLAYER SkipList never autoplays, never modifies recommendations, never touches comments, and does not inject advertising. It only manages the parts of playback you have personally asked it to manage. GETTING STARTED 1. Install and open any YouTube video. 2. Click the toolbar icon to open the popup. 3. Press Start bookmark at the beginning of a section you skip; press again at the end. 4. Adjust category profiles in Settings to control what auto-skips versus asks first.
