ZenChess - Anxiety Free Chess

Do you love chess but hate the stress of seeing your Elo rating constantly change? Do numbers make you hesitate before clicking "Play"? ZenChess is a lightweight Chrome extension designed to completely remove "rating anxiety" from Chess.com so you can focus purely on the game. By hiding Elo ratings and point predictions across the website, ZenChess helps you stay in a calm, analytical mindset. If you can't see the numbers, they don't exist! We provide a sleek, easy-to-use menu where you can instantly toggle which numbers you want to hide. ✨ Key Features ✨ • 🏠 Homepage Stats Hiding: Removes Rapid, Blitz, Bullet, and Daily ratings from your main dashboard overview. • ⚔️ In-Game Focus: Hides both your and your opponent's ratings while you are actively playing a match. No more intimidation! • 💬 Chat Message filtering: Removes the win/draw/loss point predictions (e.g., "win +35 / lose -36") and individual Elo from the starting game chat messages. • 👤 Profile & History Cleaning: Hides Elo references in player profile sidebars and your past game history timeline. All features can be toggled on or off individually through the ZenChess extension icon located in your toolbar. 🔒 Privacy First ZenChess respects your privacy. It only requires the 'storage' permission to save your toggle preferences locally on your browser. It does not collect, track, or transmit any user data, game information, or browsing history. Perfect for casual players who just want to have fun, or competitive players looking to avoid "tilt" and focus strictly on the board. Transform your chess.com experience today. Play the board, not the rating!
