About Zake: Website Blocker, Stay Focused, Productive Habits & Wellness Tools

How many times a day do you open a distracting site "just for a second," then look up hours later feeling drained, behind on work, and annoyed at yourself? Most blockers only put up a wall. You hit it, get frustrated, and find the workaround in thirty seconds: another domain, another browser, a quick disable. The block becomes a fight, and the fight makes the craving worse. Zake is different. Blocking is one tool. The rest of the system exists so you can actually stick to the boundaries you set. WORKS ON ITS OWN, OR WITH ZAKE FOR WINDOWS Zake runs fully on its own in your browser. No app, no account needed for blocking and focus scores. It is also the browser companion to Zake for Windows: sign in to the same account in both and your blocklist, Work Profiles, Kill Feeds settings and Focus Score follow you between the app and every desktop browser you use. WHAT YOU GET 1. WEBSITE BLOCKER (Free) Add any site you want out of your way, or start from one-tap categories and refine from there. A blocked domain opens a calm pause screen instead of a cold browser error. 2. 10-SECOND BREATHING PAUSE (Free) Cravings are fast. The urge hits, the tab opens, and only later do you notice what happened. Zake holds the continue button behind a full-screen breathe-in / breathe-out cycle. You can still proceed when you genuinely need the site. The point is that proceeding becomes a decision instead of a reflex. 3. FOCUS SCORE (Free) Self-control is hard to feel in the moment and easy to lie about at night. Three live numbers in the popup make it visible: Sovereignty (resisting distractions when it counts), Clarity (noticing the urge and what's driving it), and Compliance (sticking to the plan you set). Small wins compound, misses show up too, and over weeks you watch a real trend instead of guessing. Signed in, it is one score across the browser and Zake for Windows. 4. BYPASS PROTECTION (Free, never paywalled) The honest answer to "I'll just turn it off for a minute." Pausing a block, removing a site, or weakening protection can require a typed check, a countdown, or a delay you set yourself. Locking in stays instant. Getting out takes exactly the friction you asked for, so the version of you who set the blocklist at 8am is still in charge at 2pm. 5. KILL FEEDS AND SHORTS (Desktop Pro) A full block isn't always realistic. You may need a video site for lectures or a forum for a work answer. This keeps the useful parts of the major social and video sites you enable in settings, while the endless feed and short-video rails are simply gone. Search still works. Subscriptions still work. Messages still work. You choose which sites, and which surface on each one. 6. WORK PROFILES (Desktop Pro) Willpower is weakest first thing in the morning. Set recurring weekly focus windows, for example Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, and distracting sites lock out on schedule so temptation never gets the first vote of the day. Exit Passes let you pause today, pause the week, or turn the schedule off when you truly need an out. Edit the schedule here or in Zake for Windows. It is the same schedule. 7. QUICK FOCUS TIMER (Desktop Pro) Sometimes you don't need a weekly template, you need one clean hour now. Quick Focus runs on-demand sprints for study blocks, writing, or beating a deadline. Choose blocklist mode, or full lockdown with a pre-committed allowlist when the browser needs to be narrowed to only the task. 8. WELLBEING BREAKS AND POSTURE Focus needs a body that can sustain it. Long sessions end the same way every time: burning eyes, collapsed posture, and then more mindless scrolling because you're too fried for hard thinking. - Break timer you set from 5 to 180 minutes (Free). Water, stretching, standing up, any recurring reset. Arrives as a full pause screen or a quiet notification, your choice. - Eye rest on a 20-20-20 rhythm: every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds (Desktop Pro) - Posture reminders and an optional posture coach, where camera analysis stays on your machine (Desktop Pro) Using Zake for Windows too? It can show breaks across your whole PC, even outside the browser. Turn off "Show breaks in this browser" here so you never get the same break twice. A DAY WITH ZAKE Morning: your Work Profile has already started, so distractions are constrained before the feed can negotiate. Mid-task: a craving opens a blocked site, the breathing pause appears, and half the time you just close the tab. That's Sovereignty. Deadline: Quick Focus protects the sprint, while a water break and an eye rest keep the next hour from collapsing. Evening: your Focus Score shows intention versus drift. Not shame. Signal. WHY DESKTOP PRO One subscription unlocks Pro in this extension and in Zake for Windows. A personal subscription is tied to a free account, so you will be asked to sign in. If your workplace bought seats, redeem their license key instead and no account is needed. - Work Profiles for set-and-forget schedules - Quick Focus for instant lockdowns - Kill Feeds and Shorts on the sites you choose - Sync blocklists, profiles and focus scores across your desktop browsers and Zake for Windows - Monthly, yearly, or a one-time Lifetime while the offer runs Plans: $3.99/mo or $29.99/yr. A $59.99 one-time Lifetime is available until 31 October. Checkout is hosted by Dodo Payments. Card details never touch this extension. YOUR DATA - Core blocking and focus scores work fully on your device without an account - Without sign-in, the extension does not sync your data to our servers - We never read page content, never store your full browsing history, and never sell your data - Optional account uses Google Firebase only for auth, sync and entitlement - The extension and Zake for Windows share data only through your optional account. Nothing passes between them directly. - Optional camera for posture stays on-device - Organisation seats check email domain eligibility only. Individual focus behaviour stays pri…
