YouTube Transcript: AI Summary

Ytb Transcript opens a transcript panel on the right side of the YouTube video you are watching. Read the captions, jump to a line, and keep the current line in view as the video plays. The panel follows YouTube’s light and dark appearance. After you sign in with your ytbtranscript.com account, you can turn that transcript into insights, a short summary, or a chat answer. AI runs only when you click. The panel shows how many AI uses your account has left. The extension reads the caption track on the open YouTube video. A video with no captions has nothing to show, and turning on the CC button does not create a track. It does not download the video or the audio, and it does not read other websites. Sign-in uses the same website account. The login stays in this browser. Removing the extension removes that login from the browser. Deleting the website account removes the extension link and its AI usage record. Use it when you want the words of a captioned video beside the player: a lecture, an interview, a tutorial, or a talk you would rather read, search, or ask about than scrub through.
