The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About YouTube Speed Ladder

YouTube Speed Ladder automatically increases playback speed while you watch YouTube, using a schedule you control. Choose a starting speed, how many real-world seconds to wait between steps, and how much to increase the speed each time. The timer pauses during ads, buffering, manual pauses, and after the video ends. Features: • Real-time intervals that stay accurate regardless of the current playback rate • Independent state for each YouTube tab • Support for YouTube navigation, playlists, recommendations, and Shorts • Optional continuation of playback speed between videos • Automatic pause during ads and interruptions • Settings and session state stored locally on your device The extension does not collect analytics, sell data, or send your viewing activity to the developer or any third party.
