About YouTube Shorts Blocker

YouTube Shorts Blocker removes Shorts from YouTube while leaving normal videos, subscriptions, search, playlists, and channels alone. What it blocks: - Shorts shelves on Home, Subscriptions, Search, and channel pages - Shorts cards mixed into feeds and recommendations - Shorts entries in the sidebar and channel navigation - Direct youtube.com/shorts/... links When a Shorts page is opened, the extension redirects it back to the YouTube homepage before the vertical Shorts player loads. This avoids the endless auto-prefetched Shorts feed and keeps browsing focused on regular YouTube. Privacy: - No account required - No analytics - No tracking - No remote server - No data collection The extension runs locally in your browser and only touches YouTube pages so it can hide Shorts UI and block Shorts URLs.
