YouTube Resume

YouTube videos can now automatically pick up right where you left off. With YouTube Resume, you don't have to lift a finger—your video resumes seamlessly without any hassle. No setup, no logging in, and no need for any interaction. —————————————————————————— HERE'S HOW IT WORKS As you watch, YouTube Resume quietly saves your spot in your browser's local storage. When you return, it picks up exactly where you paused. A small "Clear" button will briefly appear in the player controls if you wish to start fresh; it will vanish on its own shortly after. And that’s it! The rest is entirely up to you. —————————————————————————— WHY WE CREATED THIS YouTube's built-in resume feature relies on your Google account and watch history. It works great when everything is functioning properly, but it can let you down in situations such as: · Browser crashes · Computer restarts · Accidentally closed tabs · Incognito mode or logged-out sessions · When watch history is paused or cleared YouTube Resume operates independently of your account, ensuring reliability by design. —————————————————————————— DESIGNED FOR LONG-FORM CONTENT If you treat YouTube like a podcast app—watching lectures, documentaries, tutorials, conference talks, or video essays—this tool is crafted with you in mind. The frustration of losing your spot 70 minutes into a 90-minute video can be enough to stop you from watching altogether. This tool eliminates that annoyance once and for all.
