See the exact publish date of YouTube videos instead of vague labels such as “3 weeks ago.” YouTube Publish Date shows calendar dates on the watch page, Home and Subscriptions feeds, search results, recommendations, playlists, channel pages, Shorts, end screens, and in-player cards. Choose how dates appear in the extension popup: • Date only, or date and time. • Keep relative time for videos published less than 24 hours ago. • Optionally show a channel’s subscriber count on supported video cards. • Enable Force mode to process off-screen cards and retry missing metadata. This makes more requests to YouTube. Dates follow the language of your YouTube interface. The popup and support page are available in English and Russian; other browser languages use English as a fallback. The extension requests video and channel metadata from YouTube’s own endpoints and caches results in memory. It uses no developer-operated server, analytics, or third-party libraries. After an update to a new version, a thank-you page opens once for that version. It contains optional cryptocurrency donation addresses and is also available through “Support the author” in the popup. Donations are never required; all features are free. Privacy: The extension reads video and channel IDs from YouTube pages to request their metadata from YouTube. Your display settings and the version for which the thank-you page was shown are stored locally in your browser. No data is sent to the developer.
