About YouTube Live Chat Compressor

A lightweight Chrome extension that improves YouTube Live Chat readability by collapsing repeated messages in real time. Instead of deleting messages or blocking users, the extension groups identical messages together and shows a small counter badge (x2, x3, …). Features: • Real-time duplicate message detection • Inline counter badge (starts from x2) • Smooth animation updates • Lightweight and fast • No tracking or data collection • Runs entirely locally This is an experimental MVP built for learning and productivity.
