YouTube Advanced Filter restores the classic, comprehensive search experience and upgrades it with modern multi-select capabilities. Whether you are a researcher, a content creator, or just trying to find the latest viral video, this extension bridges the gap between what YouTube offers and what you actually need. 🚀 KEY FEATURES ✅ Restore "Lost" Filters YouTube has simplified its search menu, often hiding or removing the most useful sorting options. We bring them back: Sort by View Count: Instantly find the most popular content for any topic. Sort by Rating: Filter for high-quality videos loved by the community. Sort by Upload Date: The true "newest first" sort, essential for breaking news and fresh uploads. Last Hour Filter: Drill down to content uploaded in the last 60 minutes. ✅ Multi-Select Power The default YouTube interface restricts you to selecting one filter at a time or clears them when you change categories. Our extension enables Multi-Select Support: Combine Time (e.g., Today) + Type (e.g., Video) + Features (e.g., 4K, CC) all at once. Example: Find a "4K" video, uploaded "Today", that is "Creative Commons" licensed. ✅ Smart "One-Click" Deselect Made a mistake? No need to clear everything. Simply click the "X" icon next to any active filter to remove just that specific option. The search results update instantly without resetting your entire workflow. ✅ Bidirectional Sync (URL ↔️ UI) Never lose your place. The extension reads the URL to understand what filters are currently active. If you refresh the page or share the link, the "Advanced Filters" menu will automatically show the correct checkboxes selected. ✅ Native Look & Feel Designed to feel like it belongs. Seamless Integration: Adds a simplified entry point directly next to the native "Filters" button. Dark Mode Support: Automatically detects your YouTube theme (Dark or Light) and adjusts colors to match perfectly using native CSS variables.
