About YouTube FullWindow

Tired of YouTube's cramped theater mode? YouTube FullWindow adds a true full-window mode that fills your entire browser window with the video player — edge to edge, top to bottom. YouTube's original theater mode and fullscreen remain untouched, so you get the best of both worlds. FEATURES • Full-Window Mode — Press W or click the new button in the control bar to expand the video player to fill your entire browser window. • Preserves Original Behavior — YouTube's built-in theater mode (T key) and fullscreen (F key) still work exactly as before. • Smart Mode Switching — The extension intelligently handles transitions between default, theater, full-window, and fullscreen modes. • Control Bar Button — A dedicated button is added next to the fullscreen button for quick access. • Lightweight — Minimal code, zero bloat, no external dependencies. KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS W — Toggle full-window mode (fills entire browser window) T — Toggle YouTube theater mode (original) F — Toggle native fullscreen Esc — Exit to default view PRIVACY • No data collection of any kind • Only needs access to youtube.com to function • No external servers, no tracking, no analytics • Open source (MIT license)
