The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About YouTube Focus

Take back control of your YouTube experience. YouTube Focus lets you switch between profiles — Study, Research, Background Music, Active Watching — each with its own rules. 🎯 PROFILES Each profile has independent settings. Study mode blocks everything distracting. Music mode only shows lofi content. Research mode keeps comments but hides recommendations. 🚫 BLOCK DISTRACTIONS Hide Shorts, sidebar recommendations, comments, end cards, and autoplay — per profile. 🔑 KEYWORD FILTERING Block videos by keyword or topic. Only allow specific content in focused profiles. 🔗 PLAYLIST SHORTCUTS Pin your courses, playlists, or music queues to a bottom bar visible on every YouTube page. Add new ones with one click. 🏠 SMART HOMEPAGE Auto-redirect to Subscriptions, a custom search query, or a clean blank page — per profile. No data collected. Everything stored locally on your device.
