The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About YouTube Control

YouTube Control gives you simple, direct controls to clean up your YouTube experience. Block channels from YouTube’s 3-dots menu and decide how blocked content is handled: Lock mode: keep the video card visible but locked with an overlay Remove mode: remove blocked content from view It also includes feed cleanup toggles to hide common shelf types on Home: "Shorts" shelves "Posts" shelves "Playables" shelves "Breaking news" shelves "Explore more topics" shelves Built for users who want a calmer, more focused feed without changing YouTube account settings. Privacy: Uses only local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) for your settings No account required No analytics or ad tracking in the extension No data selling Works only on youtube.com pages Version alpha-0.1.1 Changelog: - Fixed blocker overlay stacking so YouTube popups and search suggestions render above blocked cards. - Added optional Remove-mode behavior to select YouTube 'Don't recommend channel' when available before removing blocked videos. Independent project. Not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
