YouTube Comment Search — find any comment, filter and sort

Find any comment on a YouTube video — by word, by author, by timestamp. YouTube gives you a "Sort by" menu and nothing else. If the comment you remember is 400 comments down, you scroll until you find it or give up. This extension puts a search panel next to the player. It loads every comment on the video — replies included — and lets you search them like text. WHAT IT DOES • Search by keyword — every match highlighted, case and accents ignored • Search by username — see everything one person wrote under this video • Filters: with timestamps · with links · from the creator · verified authors • Sort: top, most liked, newest, most replies • Click a timestamp inside a comment and the player jumps to that moment • Loads everything by itself — comments first, then replies — with a live counter and a Stop button WHY IT LOADS EVERYTHING Search is only honest when the whole set is loaded. A panel holding 20 of 68 comments will tell you "no matches" while the match sits at number 45. So this one loads the conversation first and shows you how far it got against YouTube's own number — and because YouTube counts replies inside that number, it loads those too. PRIVACY Nothing leaves your browser. No account, no sign-in, no servers of ours in the path, no analytics, no comment stored anywhere. The panel asks the same internal endpoint the YouTube page itself asks, from the page itself. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO It works on the video you are watching. It does not search your YouTube-wide comment history, and it does not translate comments. FREE No sign-up, no limits, no paid tier.
