About YouTube Clean URLs

Ever click a single YouTube video only to find yourself locked into a never-ending playlist of songs you didn't choose? That's YouTube's Auto Mix — it quietly hijacks your session and starts queuing up videos based on your watch history, pulling from completely different genres and artists just to keep you on the platform longer. YouTube Clean URLs puts you back in control. The moment you open any YouTube video, YouTube Clean URLs silently strips out the playlist and mix parameters from the URL — before the page even finishes loading. No popups, no settings to configure, no button to click. It just works. WHAT IT REMOVES: • Auto-generated Radio and Mix playlists (the ones YouTube adds without asking) • Tracking and session parameters that follow you around WHAT IT KEEPS: • Playlists you intentionally open • Your Watch Later queue • Liked Videos playlist • Any playlist you created yourself WHY INSTALL IT: YouTube's Auto Mix is designed for the platform, not for you. It's built to extend your session by replacing your choice with its algorithm. YouTube Clean URLs respects your original intent — you picked a video, so you watch that video. What plays next is your call, not YouTube's. Lightweight, no permissions to your data, no tracking, no ads. Just clean URLs.
