YouTube AdAway

YouTube AdAway automatically handles ads on YouTube and YouTube Music so you can just keep watching. HOW IT WORKS • Clicks "Skip" the moment it appears — for every ad, including back-to-back ad pods (not just the first one) • Unskippable ads are fast-forwarded at 16x and muted, over in a blink • Your playback speed and volume are restored exactly as they were • Works on YouTube Music too — video and audio ads • Keeps working as you browse: no page reloads needed EXTRAS • Floating Picture-in-Picture button on the player (or press P) • Ads-skipped counter — see what you've avoided • One-click on/off toggle from the popup • "What's new" card in the popup after each update PRIVACY FIRST • Zero data collection — no analytics, no tracking, no external requests • Only one permission: storage (for your toggle and counter) • Everything stays in your browser LIGHTWEIGHT No background processes while you browse, no bundled libraries, no bloat. Just a small script that watches the player and acts when an ad shows up. --- This extension is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
