YouBo - Toolbox for YouTube

YouBo turns YouTube into a workspace you can actually think in. Studying a lecture, following a tutorial, doing research, or learning a language? YouBo adds the tools YouTube leaves out — timestamped notes, a searchable transcript, search across everything you've ever watched, and a calmer, more focused player. All in a clean panel that sits right next to the video. TAKE NOTES THAT STICK TO THE MOMENT - Drop timestamped notes without leaving the video — click any note to jump straight back to that second. - Rich text and Markdown, so your notes read like real study material. - Export to Markdown and more, and keep everything in your own tools. READ AND SEARCH THE TRANSCRIPT - Open a clean, scrollable transcript for videos that have captions. - Search within a video to jump straight to where something was said. FIND ANYTHING YOU'VE WATCHED - Global search across your notes, highlights, bookmarks, and saved transcripts. - "Where did someone explain this?" now spans your whole library — not just one video. STAY FOCUSED - Study Mode, a built-in Pomodoro timer, and a distraction-free player. - Optionally hide the homepage feed and Shorts so a quick lookup doesn't turn into a lost hour. ORGANIZE YOUR LIBRARY - Folders, tags, and collections to keep courses, topics, and research tidy. AI THAT WORKS ON THE ACTUAL VIDEO (OPTIONAL) - Summaries, chapters, key concepts, quizzes, and a chat that answers from the transcript. - Bring your own API key, or use built-in credits. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT - Your notes and library live locally on your device. - Cloud sync is optional and only for paid plans. FREE TO START - Notes, transcript, bookmarks, and Markdown export are free. - Paid plans add global search, organization, sync, analytics, and AI. Install YouBo and make everything you watch count.
