XVDown - X Video Downloader

XVDown helps users keep videos and GIFs from X (Twitter) on their own device — quietly and under their control. Timeline download: One control on video tweets. Picks the best MP4 bitrate automatically; multi-video posts download in one go. Private vault (default): Files stay in extension storage — not the system Downloads folder, download shelf, or chrome://downloads. Export only when the user chooses. Full history: Author, text, time, resolution, and engagement stats are searchable, filterable, sortable, and exportable as JSON or CSV. Access password: Optional lock on the history page; the password hash is stored locally and never sent to us. English & 中文: Popup, history, and on-page toasts share one language setting. Completely free: All features are available without subscriptions, purchases, license keys, or account activation. There are no download quotas or history limits.
