The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Xray for Chrome
Xray for Chrome lets you manage your own Xray profiles and subscriptions and control the proxy connection of your regular Google Chrome profile on Windows and macOS.
IMPORTANT: This extension requires a separate companion app, installed from the project's official releases, and your own valid profile or subscription. No server or subscription is included. The in-app Setup guide provides ready-to-copy installation commands for your platform.
FEATURES
- Split traffic with website bypass rules: add websites that should NOT use the VPN/proxy. Traffic to those sites connects directly through your normal internet connection, while other supported traffic continues through Xray
- English by default, with a one-click Persian switch and saved language preference
- Import VLESS, VMess AEAD, Shadowsocks and Trojan links (connection compatibility depends on the core version and your server settings)
- Add or manually refresh a subscription using its direct HTTPS URL; access is requested only for that subscription's domain
- Select a profile, then connect or disconnect Chrome with one click
- Test HTTPS response time through each profile, individually or in a batch, with up to two concurrent tests and the ability to cancel the queue
- Manage profiles and subscriptions, view core status and diagnostics
- Step-by-step Windows and macOS setup guide with copy-command buttons
TRAFFIC SPLITTING
Need some websites to use your normal internet connection instead of Xray?
Add them to the bypass list. When Xray is connected, websites in this list do not send their traffic through the selected VPN/proxy server. They connect directly, while the rest of your proxied Chrome traffic continues through Xray.
This is useful for local services, banking websites, streaming services, or any website you prefer to access with your regular connection.
PRIVACY
- Profiles, subscriptions, bypass rules and test results are stored locally on your device
- No ads and no analytics or usage data are sent to the developer
- Subscription retrieval contacts your provider, connections go through the server you select, and latency tests contact gstatic through that server
- Full details and removal instructions are available in the privacy policy
GOOD TO KNOW
- This is not a system-wide proxy and does not cover Incognito mode
- Websites added to the bypass list connect directly and do not pass through the selected Xray server
- Local addresses bypass the proxy
- Non-proxied WebRTC is restricted while connected, when Chrome allows it
- Access to every website and coverage of all device traffic are not guaranteed
