About X Smart Dimmer

Stop getting blinded by white memes and bright UI screenshots on X. X-Dimmer automatically analyzes the pixel data of images and videos on your timeline in real-time. If a post exceeds your chosen brightness threshold, the extension subtly dims it to match your dark-mode aesthetic. Key Features: Smart Detection: Uses W3C relative luminance formulas to detect "true" brightness. Zero Latency: High-speed pixel sampling ensures your scrolling remains smooth. Customizable: Adjust the dimming intensity and sensitivity via the popup menu. Privacy First: All calculations happen locally on your machine. No data is sent to external servers.
