Hide unwanted panels, change your timeline’s appearance, and add animated companions and interactive cursor effects. An X Customs account and an active subscription or eligible trial are required. MAKE ROOM FOR WHAT MATTERS Choose from 23 visibility controls for navigation items, sidebar panels, suggestions, and the Grok and Chat drawers. Keep the parts you use and hide the distractions. CHANGE THE ATMOSPHERE Choose from 12 still backgrounds and 12 animated backgrounds, or upload your own PNG, JPG, WebP, or GIF. FIND YOUR TYPE Choose from 11 custom fonts, or restore X’s default font whenever you want. MAKE IT YOUR COLOR Personalize X with preset accent colors or enter your own HEX color. BRING SOME COMPANY Choose from 23 animated companions or upload your own images and GIFs. Select multiple companions, drag them into place, or move a focused companion with the arrow keys. ADD MOTION Choose Splash Cursor, Neon Flow, Neon Cursor, or Liquid Effect. Use one effect at a time, or turn effects off. COPY DIRECT MEDIA LINKS Right-click an image or video on X and choose Copy Link to copy its direct media URL. KEEP YOUR PREFERENCES Settings save automatically. Supported appearance and visibility preferences can sync through Chrome when browser sync is enabled. Uploaded backgrounds and companion uploads, selections, and positions stay in your browser.
