About X Bookmark Library-Scrap and Organize X Bookmark
How many times have you saved a brilliant art reference, pose study, or UI design on X, only to have it disappear into the black hole of your bookmarks? How many times have you saved an interesting tweet but can't find it bookmarked at ancient ages? Months later, when you actually need it, you can't remember the artist’s handle or what the tweet said and X’s default bookmark list makes searching for it practically impossible.
X Bookmark Library turns your chaotic saved tweets and liked posts into an organized, visual reference vault.
X Bookmark Library is a browser extension designed to index, organize, retrieve and save saved bookmarks and liked posts from X (Twitter).Instead of scrolling endlessly through endless text feeds, this extension lets you instantly view, search and share your entire collection. Specifically tailored for artists, designers, and visual creators, it addresses the search limitations of X’s native bookmark list by providing dedicated visual views for quick reference lookup.
🔍How It Works:
1. Automated Capture & Background Indexing
When you interact with posts on X, the injected content script extracts post metadata such as embedded image media, post text, author handles, and original URLs. The background service worker processes this data and indexes it locally inside your browser's storage.
2. Fast Local Caching
Instead of sending real-time API requests to X every time you want to view your saved items, the extension maintains a local database of your library. This allows your saved art references and design assets to load instantly with high-resolution image previews, completely avoiding X's timeline rate limits or slow loading times.
3. Side Panel Integration
Using Chrome's native Side Panel API, the extension runs directly alongside your active web pages or web-based art applications. You can pin your reference feed to the edge of your screen, allowing you to view pose studies, color schemes, or UI layouts side-by-side with your active workspace without switching tabs.
4. Full-Screen Showcase Gallery
For deep research or mood board generation, the extension opens a dedicated dashboard view. The Showcase interface translates your saved text-and-link data into a responsive, thumbnail-focused media gallery. This enables visual scanning across hundreds of saved items at once and allows keyword searching across post text and author names to locate old references instantly.
5. Custom Tagging & Categorization
Add, remove, and manage custom color-coded tags on any post right from the card. Organize posts by project, topic, or reading list (e.g., #ai, #design, #finance, #reading).
6. Offline Portable JSON Backup
Export your entire library into standard, structured JSON anytime. Easily restore or merge your backup on other devices without losing tags or collections.
