Save operating instructions, share workflows, or provide context to an AI tool capable of operating a browser. WHY WORKFLOW RECORDER? AI can operate a browser, but an unfamiliar website still takes time to explore. It must find features, understand forms, and work out the correct sequence of actions. Describing what you want does not always explain how to do it on a particular website. Perform the task once, and Workflow Recorder turns your actions, page element context, and step screenshots into workflow documentation. Copy the generated instructions into an AI tool capable of operating a browser so it can refer to your demonstrated workflow instead of starting from scratch. This context helps AI understand the procedure and provides a starting point for repeating tasks, changing inputs, or handling similar scenarios. KEY FEATURES • Record clicks, typing, selections, key presses, hovers, drags, and navigation. • Track child tabs and windows opened by the recorded page. • Capture screenshots automatically, update them manually, or disable them. • Review and edit steps in the side panel, then save to a selected folder. • Manage cases in a workbench with folders up to three levels deep, search, and bulk moves. • Export Markdown documents and screenshots, or share importable case packages. • Copy workflow instructions for an AI browser tool to use as reference. Screenshots are not included in the copied text. • Available in Simplified Chinese and English. DATA AND PRIVACY You control when recording starts. Recordings stay in your current browser profile. The extension does not upload recording content to the developer or third-party servers. Recordings may contain page content, form input values (including passwords), and screenshots. Avoid recording sensitive information and review content before copying, exporting, or sharing. Content you choose to provide to an AI tool is processed by that service. Chrome may display a “debugging this browser” notification during recording. This is expected because screenshot capture uses the browser’s debugging interface. The connection is closed when recording stops.
