Word Stash

Word Stash saves the words you find while reading online, looks up their meanings for you, and keeps them in your own dictionary. Then you can learn them with flashcards. LOOK UP WORDS INSTANTLY • Double-click any word on a webpage to see its definition in a small popup. • Click through to Google for more context and examples. SAVE WORDS AS YOU READ • Select a word and save it from the right-click menu, or press Ctrl+Shift+S. • Word Stash looks up the meaning for you and adds it to your dictionary. STUDY WITH FLASHCARDS • Turn your saved words into a shuffled flashcard deck. • Choose what the front of the card shows: the word or its meaning. • Flip a card to check your answer, then mark it "Knew it" or "Still learning". • Words you're still learning come back later in the session until you know them all. • When you finish, see your score and study the words you missed again. • Use keyboard shortcuts: Space to flip, 1 for "Still learning", 2 for "Knew it". MANAGE YOUR WORD STASH • View and edit your saved words at any time. • Export your stash to a JSON file as a backup, and import it again later or on another computer. • Clear your stash whenever you want to start over. Your words are stored in your browser and are never sent to anyone.
