Winnow – Photo Cleaner for Google Photos™

Winnow helps you clean up a Google Photos library that has outgrown its storage, a few minutes a day, one decision at a time. Most cleanup tools ask you to bulk-delete by date. Winnow takes the opposite approach: it shows you your own photos and lets you decide what stays. Because it picks photos at random from your whole library, every session feels fresh and you never get stuck in the same month. THREE WAYS TO CLEAN UP • Sort out bursts: near-identical shots taken seconds apart appear side by side. Pick the ones to keep; the rest go to the trash. This is where most of the clutter hides. • One-by-one cleanup: one random photo at a time. Keep it, delete it, or press F to make it a favorite. • Review favorites: go through your favorites and keep only the ones that still deserve a star. BUILT FOR A DAILY HABIT • Optional daily reminder: choose the days and the earliest time • Statistics by year and month, with one-click cleanup for any year or month • A report after every session: photos reviewed, deleted, kept and storage freed • Trash and storage overview: what is waiting in the trash and how close you are to your Google storage limit • Photos that don't count toward your storage are clearly labeled • Full keyboard support and undo PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Winnow runs entirely in your browser. It works by pressing the buttons in Google Photos for you. • Your photos never leave your Google account. There is no Winnow server, and nothing is sent to any AI service or third party. • Your decisions and statistics are stored only in Chrome on your computer. • No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no sign-in. SAFE BY DEFAULT Deleted photos go to the Google Photos trash, where they can be restored for 30 days. Winnow empties the trash only when you ask it to, after two confirmations. Available in English, Español, Português (Brasil), Bahasa Indonesia, Français, Deutsch and Türkçe. Winnow is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Google.
