The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Window Resizer

Window Resizer sets a browser window to exact pixel dimensions, so you can look at a layout at the size it will actually be used at instead of guessing from a dragged window edge. Click the toolbar icon and a small panel opens beside your work. Pick any open window from the list, click a size, and that window snaps to it. WHY THIS ONE It resizes any open window, not just the one in front. The picker lists every window with its current size and its tabs, so three windows showing the same site are still tellable apart, and you can bring one forward to check you picked the right target before resizing it. The list stays current as windows open, close, and change size. The panel is its own small window rather than a toolbar dropdown. A dropdown closes the moment focus moves, and resizing a window moves focus. This one stays open, so you can click through several sizes in a row. SIZES Seven common sizes are there from the start: 540 × 950, 800 × 600, 1024 × 768, 1152 × 700, 1440 × 900, 1920 × 1080, and 2560 × 1440. Add your own with a width, a height, and a device type. Delete the ones you never use. Restore the defaults whenever you want. Everything is stored locally. MATCH PAGE HEIGHT (OPTIONAL) Turn it on and a height means the page viewport instead of the whole window. The browser's own title bar, tab strip, and toolbars are measured in the window being resized and added on top, so 1440 × 900 gives you a 900 pixel tall page rather than a 900 pixel tall window. The measurement is taken in that window at the moment you resize, because two windows on one machine genuinely differ when only one of them is showing the bookmarks bar. It is off by default, and it is the only feature that needs site access. Switching it on asks for the permission through the browser's own prompt. Switching it off hands the permission straight back. HONEST ABOUT THE RESULT Window managers clamp windows to the display, and Chrome enforces its own minimum window size, which differs per platform. Window Resizer reads the window back after every resize and tells you the size you actually got, instead of reporting success and leaving you to measure. Maximized and fullscreen windows are returned to a normal state first, because window bounds are ignored otherwise. PRIVACY No telemetry, no analytics, no accounts, no backend, and no network requests of any kind. There is no server to send anything to. Your saved sizes and one toggle live in your browser's local extension storage, and deleting the extension removes them. The extension requests no site access on install. It reads open windows and their tabs to build the picker; that is rendered on your screen and never stored, logged, or transmitted. ALSO Light and dark themes, with your choice remembered. Works offline.
