About WeXL Exam Guard

WeXL Exam Guard keeps WeXL online assessments fair. Some browser extensions — for example tools that force-enable copy/paste in a locked exam, or AI assistants — can undermine the integrity of a proctored test. WeXL Exam Guard was built specifically for the WeXL assessment platform (FluentEdge English, FluentEdge Prep, BET, and BER exams) to detect such extensions before an exam begins. How it works • When you start a WeXL exam, the page asks the extension to run a one-time check. • The extension lists the browser extensions currently enabled in your browser and securely reports them to the WeXL platform. • WeXL checks them against a list of tools known to compromise exam integrity and lets you know if any need to be disabled before you can continue. Privacy first • The extension activates only on WeXL exam pages — never on any other website. • It reads your installed-extension list only when a WeXL exam page requests a check. • It does not collect browsing history, page content, keystrokes, or personal data, and it never sells or shares your data. This extension is intended for students and candidates taking exams on the WeXL platform.
