It only processes the content required from the current page when you explicitly use a save, screenshot, export, or import feature. Local data is primarily stored in Chrome extension storage and IndexedDB. Google Drive synchronization and backup are optional and are only enabled after the user explicitly signs in and grants permission. WebCapsule uses the limited drive.file permission and does not request unrestricted access to your entire Google Drive. WebCapsule does not sell user data, does not use cross-site advertising trackers, and does not include third-party advertising, telemetry, or analytics SDKs. No sign-in, membership account, or subscription is required for local features.
