The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Web Reader
Summarize web articles in a clean sidebar using Anthropic’s Claude. Extracts content, keeps formatting readable, and saves your preferences.
Web Reader adds a reader-friendly sidebar to any article and generates concise or detailed summaries with Anthropic’s Claude.
Key features:
- One-click summarize: toolbar icon, context menu, or Shift+Alt+S
- Reader view: clean typography, themes, font size and line-height
- Multiple styles: TL;DR, Concise, Detailed
- Caching: keeps recent summaries for quick re-open
- Privacy-first: no analytics; only sends content you request to summarize
How it works:
1) Click the extension or press Shift+Alt+S
2) We extract the main article body and convert it to Markdown
3) Claude generates a summary with your chosen style
