The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Weather Please
Weather Please brings the forecast to your new tab - clean, fast, and out of the way.
Open a new tab and you've got current conditions plus a nine-day forecast, no clicking around required. The interface shows you what you need and nothing you don't: temperature, UV, precipitation, wind - laid out so you can take it in at a glance and get on with your day. There's a quiet satisfaction in how little it asks of you.
Thoughtfully designed from the ground up with accessibility in mind, Weather Please works fully with screen readers, so everyone gets the same effortless experience. With support for 14 languages, it welcomes users from all over the world without any configuration fuss - just open a tab, and it's ready.
The design philosophy is simple: strip away everything that isn't the weather. No clutter, no noise, no unnecessary steps between you and the information you actually came for. What remains is an experience that feels considered and unhurried - precisely because so much was left out.
Remarkably lightweight, it slips into your browser without a trace. No subscriptions, no accounts, no ads. Just accurate, up-to-date weather, delivered with a bit of care.
NEW: Your calendar, beside the forecast.
Connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook and your next few days of events appear alongside the weather - grouped by day, with times, locations, and a link back to the original event. Connect more than one account to keep work and personal visibly apart.
It's entirely optional, and it stays true to the rest of the extension. Access is read-only, so Weather Please can see your upcoming events and never change them. Events travel straight from the provider to your browser - no server in between, nothing stored anywhere but your own machine. Skip it and everything works exactly as it did.
