About Vocal & Instruments remover - Stem Isolator
Stem Isolator is an AI vocal remover and stem separator for music playing in your browser. Reduce vocals for karaoke, build a backing track for instrument practice, or isolate individual parts of a song with four independent volume controls.
KARAOKE AND VOCAL REMOVAL
Turn down the Vocals slider to hear an instrumental mix and sing along. Keep a little of the original voice for guidance, or mute the vocal stem for singing practice and rehearsals.
BACKING TRACKS FOR MUSIC PRACTICE
Create a custom play-along mix directly from the active tab. Lower the bass while practicing bass guitar, remove the drum stem to play your own part, or adjust the accompaniment to suit your rehearsal.
Your backing track plays in the browser. No file upload or separate audio editor is needed.
VOCAL ISOLATION AND FOCUSED LISTENING
Turn down the instrumental stems to focus on vocals and hear melodies, harmonies, and phrasing. Build an a cappella-style mix, study a bass line, or listen closely to a drum pattern while learning a song by ear.
FOUR INDEPENDENT STEMS
• Vocals — singing and vocal parts
• Bass — the bass part of the mix
• Drums — drums and percussion
• Other — remaining instruments and accompaniment
Adjust each channel from 0% to 100% to build your preferred mix.
LOCAL AI. PRIVATE AUDIO.
Audio separation runs on your device. Your audio is not uploaded to a server or sent to a cloud processing service. No account is required.
The separation engine works offline. The website playing your music may still require an internet connection.
HOW TO USE
1. Play music in the browser tab you want to process.
2. Open Stem Isolator and click “Start Listening.”
3. Keep the music playing while the first audio buffer is analyzed.
4. Adjust Vocals, Bass, Drums, and Other.
5. Click “Stop” when you are finished.
The original audio remains audible during preparation, then switches to the separated mix when the first result is ready.
BEFORE YOU START
AI separation quality depends on the original recording. Some vocals or instruments may remain audible in other stems.
Processing uses buffering and introduces playback delay. Startup time and playback smoothness depend on your device. This extension is intended for listening and practice, not latency-sensitive live performance.
Stem Isolator adjusts audio playback only. It does not download songs or export separated audio files.
