VideoToDisk – Video Downloader

VideoToDisk helps you save supported online videos to your computer. Choose a quality, merge video and audio locally, and optionally save subtitles and cover images, all from a compact browser popup. Open a supported video page and click the extension. VideoToDisk detects the available tracks, lets you choose 720p or 1080p, and saves the video as an MP4 file. Availability depends on the source video and your existing website access. Features: • Automatic detection when you open the extension on a supported video page. • A choice of 720p or 1080p when those tracks are available. • Local merging of video and audio; no media upload to a VideoToDisk server. • Optional subtitle and cover downloads, both off by default. • Native Chrome downloads: use the default download folder or choose Save As for each file. • Background processing while the popup is closed; reopen it to see an active download's progress. • English and Simplified Chinese interface, with light and dark themes. • Works entirely within Chrome; no desktop app or helper installation is required. Current support and limits: • This Chrome release supports Bilibili video pages. Other websites, live streams and generic streaming URLs are not currently supported. • A download task is limited to 512 MiB of input video and audio. Processing can require substantially more memory. • Signing in on Bilibili may be necessary for the available quality options. The extension does not ask for your password or read/export cookie values; page requests use your existing website session. • No DRM removal or paywall bypass is provided. Use VideoToDisk only where downloading is permitted by the rights holder and the applicable service terms. Access to playback does not itself establish permission to download or redistribute content.
