Video Speed Control for Chrome

Control the playback speed of any HTML5 video or audio on the web — including video embedded in an iframe, which most speed-control extensions can't reach. **On-video overlay** A small, draggable control appears on every video: rewind, advance, slower, faster, a turbo toggle, and a speed readout you can click to reset, double-click to type an exact value, or drag left/right to scrub. **Works inside iframes** The overlay and keyboard shortcuts attach inside every frame on the page — including a cross-origin iframe serving the actual video — not just the top-level page. **Keyboard shortcuts** S/D to slow down or speed up, R to reset, Z/X to rewind or advance, G for a one-key turbo speed, V to hide the overlay. Fully remappable. Also works from inside a focused iframe. **Speeds from 0.07× to 8×**, with a popup for quick presets (0.25× up to 8×), rewind/advance buttons, and per-page enable/disable. **Remembers your speed per site** — set it once on a site and it comes back next time you visit, without asking again. **Auto re-applies your speed** if a site resets it after an ad break or a new video loads. **Right-click menu** for speed up/down/reset/show-hide, and browser-level keyboard shortcuts you can set at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
