Video Speed

Four speed buttons — 1×, 1.25×, 1.5× and 2× — right under the video on YouTube, VK Video and Rutube. No more opening the player menu to look for "Playback speed". One speed for all three sites. The chosen speed is remembered and applied automatically: • to the next video — from recommendations and in playlists; • in a new tab and after restarting the browser; • on your other computers if Chrome sync is on. Plays nicely with the players: • the speed is set through each site's own player, so its speed menu shows the right value; • if you change the speed from the player menu or with its keyboard shortcuts, the extension respects it; • ads and live streams are never sped up automatically; • until you press a button for the first time, the extension changes nothing. Works with light and dark themes. Privacy: the extension stores only the speed you pick — in your browser and, if Chrome sync is on, in your Google Account via Chrome sync. The developer receives nothing: no analytics, no tracking, no network requests. Supported: video pages on www.youtube.com, rutube.ru, vkvideo.ru and video windows on vk.com / vk.ru in desktop browsers. Not supported: Shorts, live streams, mobile sites, YouTube Music and players embedded on other websites.
