Video Overlay Tools

Video Overlay Tools helps artists and video creators inspect composition and tonal balance while web video continues playing. Choose a rule-of-thirds grid, golden-ratio grid, or center cross. Adjust line color, thickness, opacity, and blend mode. Enable the OKLab-inspired value check to view an efficient monochrome approximation designed for evaluating light and dark relationships in SDR video. The grid and value check can be toggled independently from the popup or keyboard shortcuts. Settings remain local to the browser. The extension does not require an account, communicate with external servers, or capture video frames.
