Video Downloader Ori finds the videos a web page plays and saves them to your computer — including streaming video (HLS and DASH) that ordinary download buttons can't grab.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Save video from most websites as a standard MP4 that opens in any player or editing app
• Choose from the qualities the site offers
• Save only the part you need: set a start and end time and Ori saves just that clip (for streams, only the needed segments are downloaded)
• Extract audio as MP3 (320 / 192 / 128 kbps) or M4A
• Save subtitle tracks the stream or page provides as SRT or VTT
• Hover over a video to preview it, and rename files before saving
• Use it as a popup or keep it open in the side panel
• Dark mode and 33 languages
HOW IT WORKS
1. Play the video on the page.
2. Click the Ori icon — detected videos appear with a preview.
3. Pick a format and click Download.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything happens inside your browser. Ori doesn't collect your browsing history, doesn't track you and has no servers that receive your data. There is no companion app to install.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Some websites and platforms are not supported.
• Ori does not download DRM-protected video, such as content from subscription streaming services, and does not bypass any content protection.
• Long videos are saved in a download tab that Ori opens. Keep that tab open until the file is finished.
• Please download only content you own or have permission to save, and respect each website's terms.
FREE DURING LAUNCH
All features are free during the launch period.
