VIDEO DOWNLOADER FOR X Save videos and photos from X (formerly Twitter) without copying links or visiting downloader websites. A download button appears directly over supported videos. Click it, choose where to save the file, and you’re done. No extra account, subscription, or ads. CLICK & SAVE • Download videos as MP4 files. • Automatically select the highest-resolution MP4 the extension can find, preferring a higher bitrate when resolutions match. • Save files through Chrome’s normal Save As dialog. • Get readable filenames based on the post text when available. There’s no quality menu to fiddle with. The extension looks for the best available version, without upscaling or converting it. PHOTOS TOO Want to save photos? Open the extension popup and turn on Download images. Each supported photo gets its own button, so you can save exactly the one you want. The extension tries to download the original-size image offered by X rather than the smaller timeline preview. Video downloads are on by default; image downloads are off. You can switch either feature on or off independently. Your settings are saved locally, and changes apply to already-open X pages without a reload. PRIVACY RESPECTED No analytics, trackers, or browsing reports sent to the developer. Your downloads go directly through X’s media servers, without an external downloader or conversion service. The extension is free to use. An optional tip link in the popup supports development, but all features are available without tipping. IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG X changes regularly, so some posts or media players may not work. Downloads also depend on what X makes available and whether its servers are responding. Videos without an accessible direct MP4 cannot be downloaded. If a download fails, open the extension popup on the affected X tab and click Error log. PLEASE RESPECT CREATORS Saving a file doesn’t make it yours. Respect the creator’s rights and get permission when needed before republishing or redistributing their work.
