HOW TO USE Open a video page and play the video. Open VicoCut, select a detected video, confirm the file name and available quality, then start downloading. SUPPORTED FORMATS AND LIMITATIONS Not every website is supported. DRM/encrypted video, live streams, DASH, separate audio merging and some advanced HLS layouts are not supported. TS-based HLS is saved as .ts; fragmented MP4 HLS is saved as .mp4. Keep the download tab open during HLS downloads. HLS downloads cannot resume after interruption. Direct MP4/WebM downloads can resume only when supported by the browser and server. PRIVACY Detection and task information are stored in browser session storage. Download history and appearance settings are stored locally. VicoCut connects to source websites and media servers to inspect and download content. It does not upload videos or download history to a developer server. OPTIONAL SUPPORT All features are available without a contribution. Optional support helps maintain and develop VicoCut.
