The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About VibeMonkey
VibeMonkey is an unofficial, modular productivity toolkit for Hack Forums. It gives you one focused command center for 19 optional interface, Convo, safety, media, group, and popularity tools.
Every module is off on a fresh install. Enable only the tools you want, see whether each module is available on the current page, and switch modules individually from the Chrome popup or the on-page command center.
FEATURES
- A full on-page command center with search, clear module state, and Ctrl+Shift+M access
- Convo mention autocomplete with click and arrow-key selection
- Reply formatting, GIF search, /whois, /lastseen, group conversation alerts, and optional authenticated voice rooms
- An on-demand VirusTotal scanner for selected external links
- A bundled OSRS-inspired theme that does not require a separate style extension
- Local background uploads, theme density, and page-specific interface tuning
- Movie review trailer and IMDb autofill
- Quick popularity actions and a simplified popularity change monitor
- Group shortcuts and display-group controls
- Hard blocking and cursor restoration tools
PRIVACY AND CONTROL
All modules start disabled. Optional external actions run only after their module is enabled and the user activates that action. Link scans send a selected URL and a user-supplied API key to VirusTotal. GIF search sends the entered query to Tenor. Movie Review Autofill sends the entered movie title to IMDb, YouTube, and DuckDuckGo. Convo Voice connects to voice.hftools.org only after the user enables the module, authenticates, clicks Join, and grants microphone access. Full details are available in the VibeMonkey privacy policy.
