VeriReview: Fake Review Detector & Checker for Amazon, Google

VeriReview helps you read reviews with a critical eye. When you ask it to, it analyzes the reviews on the Amazon product page or Google place (Maps & Search) you're viewing — right in your browser — and shows a 0–100 Trust Index with clear explanations of why. IMPORTANT: VeriReview is a heuristic tool that FLAGS suspicious patterns (review spikes, an unnatural share of 5-star ratings, repetitive text, generic language...). It is not a fraud verdict and it never accuses anyone: it gives you context so you can decide for yourself. FULL, MANUAL CONTROL It never runs on its own. It only analyzes when YOU ask, in three ways: • The "Analyze" button in the extension popup (click the VeriReview toolbar icon). • The right-click menu on any supported page. • A keyboard shortcut — Alt+Shift+A by default, customizable at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. REAL PRIVACY: ZERO DATA • All analysis happens on your device. • No network requests, no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. • It collects and transmits no personal data whatsoever. • Open, verifiable source code. Works on Amazon and Google. It only activates on those pages.
