VeriMedia: Deepfake & Misinformation Detector

VeriMedia helps you check whether what you see online is real. Right-click any image or video and choose "Verify Media with VeriMedia" to check it for deepfake manipulation. Select a sentence or paragraph, right-click, and choose "Fact-check with VeriMedia" to check it for misinformation. DEEPFAKE DETECTION (images and videos) • Trained face-swap detectors (EfficientNet models trained on the Celeb-DF and DFDC deepfake datasets, plus a GRU temporal model for video) • AI-generated image detection • Digital-forensics signals: error level analysis, spectral (GAN artifact) analysis, noise and lighting consistency • Flagged media is blurred with a warning card; you can still choose "Reveal Anyway" MISINFORMATION DETECTION (text) • Extracts the main claim from the text you select • Searches published fact-checks • An AI model weighs the evidence and explains its verdict: true, misleading, false, or unverified DASHBOARD • Overview of your scans and how many were flagged • Searchable history of past scans (only visible to your own installation) • Settings: optional scan buttons on social media photos and videos, optional Auto-protect PRIVACY VeriMedia only analyzes content you choose to scan (or, if you turn on Auto-protect, a few large images per page).
