V Mitra — Portal Sync

The V Mitra UDISE+ Progression Pusher saves school staff hours of repetitive data entry during the annual UDISE+ student progression activity. It reads year-end progression data (progression status, marks %, days attended, schooling status) from your existing V Mitra school dashboard session and auto-fills each matching student row on the UDISE+ SDMS "Student Movement and Progression" page. Students are matched by name and father's name (PEN is used only as a tie-breaker, since it is often blank on the portal). Any row that can't be matched confidently is listed for manual selection. You stay in control: • Preview mode shows exactly what each row will receive before anything changes. • You click the final "Finalize / Submit" on the portal yourself — the extension never finalizes for you. • No password is shared. The extension uses your already-logged-in V Mitra tab, or an optional read-only key that self-expires in 60 minutes. This extension is for schools that use V Mitra (vmitra.co.in) for school management. It only runs on the UDISE+ portal and the V Mitra dashboard.
