URL Cleaner by Elegant Matter

URL Cleaner by Elegant Matter removes recognized tracking and attribution parameters from links without aggressively stripping query strings that may make a URL work. Use the toolbar popup to clean the current page URL or any URL you paste. You can also clean links from the right-click menu, create exact custom rules, and optionally enable Auto Clean for eligible clicked links. Key features: - Removes known tracking parameters while preserving unknown and functional parameters by default. - Protects recognized signed and security-sensitive URLs before ordinary cleaning rules run. - Cleans the current page URL or another pasted URL from the toolbar popup. - Adds right-click actions to copy, open or inspect a cleaned link. - Optional Auto Clean can clean eligible clicked links before navigation. It is off by default and requests website access only when enabled. - Create Always remove and Always keep rules globally or for specific domains. - Add site exclusions when Auto Clean should not run. - Export and import custom cleaning rules. - Local activity counters, with detailed local history off by default. Privacy: URL cleaning runs locally in the extension. URLs, domains, query values, custom rules and activity data are not sent to Elegant Matter or third-party analytics services. If you enable detailed history, up to 50 recent original/cleaned URLs and rule summaries are stored only in your browser until you clear them or turn history off.
