The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Ultra TM Checker
The "Ultra TM Checker" is a browser extension designed to streamline the process of searching for trademarks. Its core functionality is centered around the Justia Trademarks database.
The extension works in two main ways:
1- Context Menu Integration: When you select any text on a webpage and right-click, a new option appears in the menu labeled "Check TM for...". Clicking this instantly opens a new browser tab with the search results for the selected text on the Justia Trademarks website. The code you highlighted in the Canvas is responsible for creating this right-click functionality.
2- Popup Interface: The extension also has a popup window that appears when you click its icon in the Chrome toolbar. This popup includes:
2.1- A search bar and a button to manually enter and search for trademarks on Justia.
2.2- A dark mode toggle for user interface preference.
2.3- Links to your social media profiles, email, blog, and a YouTube subscribe button for support.
2.4- A clean, modern design with a clear footer containing copyright information.
In essence, it's a convenient tool that provides quick access to trademark searches directly from your browser, either through a quick right-click or a dedicated popup interface.
