The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

Recordings and downloads stay on your computer. No account is required.
How to use
1. Open a page that plays a public HLS or MP4 stream, then click the extension icon.
2. If a stream appears, choose Chrome download (MP4) or the multi-thread downloader (HLS).
3. If nothing is listed, click Record current tab or Record computer screen.
4. In Chrome's permission dialog, choose this tab, Entire screen, or a window, and enable audio if you need sound.
5. Click Stop and save when you are finished. The WebM file is saved locally.
Privacy
Detected stream URLs are stored only in local Chrome storage and are cleared when the tab is closed. This extension does not upload your media to a remote server.
Important limits
This extension does not download YouTube videos, does not bypass paywalls or login walls, and does not decrypt DRM-protected services such as Netflix. Use it only for content you are allowed to save or for your own screen recordings.
