U+Type

U+Type is a fast, local text toolkit for people who write, edit, calculate, and work with structured text in the browser. It adds practical text actions directly to editable fields and selected text, so small corrections and conversions do not require another website, application, or AI service. Select text and open the U+Type right-click menu, or use its typing shortcuts while you work. Every transformation is deterministic and runs on the device. Typed, pasted, selected, and inspected content is never sent to the developer. U+Type can: - Fix spelling, common mistypes, nearby-key errors, and text entered with a misplaced hand. - Check or solve math, validate conversions, and add metric or US equivalents. - Change case, format or rewrite numbers, remove accents, and clean suspicious text controls. - Paste in useful formats, redact secrets, and insert safe developer placeholders. - Format and convert JSON, URLs, Base64, HTML, JWT payloads, lists, and other developer text. - Type and inspect Unicode characters using codes, Windows Alt values, or searchable character names. For example, type `U1F600` for 😀, `A0151` for —, or begin `\interrobang` when you remember a symbol's name but not its code. Highlight `12 in` to add its metric equivalent, select a mistyped sentence to repair it, or check an equation without leaving the field. U+Type uses bundled dictionaries, Unicode data, math tools, and unit data. It works in standard fields and compatible rich-text editors, requires no account, and contains no ads, analytics, or paid features. U+Type is a non-monetized utility built for internal use and shared publicly for others' benefit. It has no paid features, ads, affiliate links, or commercial accounts.
